For a long time, I thought I could control and perfectly plan every aspect of my life. Then I married my high-school sweetheart, moved across the country from Alabama to Connecticut, and God blessed us with four precious boys. My life has never been the same! Today, my days are filled with lots of cooking, cleaning, dirt, wrestling, and baby snuggles. Did I mention dirt?
But have you ever looked at your messy kitchen or listened to the loud laughter of your children, and felt a quiet whisper from the Holy Spirit reminding you that you are exactly where you are supposed to be? If you are a mother looking for spiritual refreshment in the middle of a beautiful, busy life—you are in the right place.
Threads of Glory and Grace is a space created to encourage our hearts in the goodness of God. Our days are woven from ordinary moments: sticky counters, endless laundry, diaper changes, and bedtime stories. My mission is to help you see how God’s incredible grace and magnificent glory are intricately threaded right through those exact everyday moments.
On this blog, I talk about:
Glory in the Ordinary: Noticing God’s handiwork and beauty in the midst of our daily lives.
Grace for the Journey: Leaning on God’s grace and truth, even on our hardest days.
Practical Motherhood: Family recipes, routines, tips & tricks for our mothering journey
Discipling Little Hearts: Practical, simple ways to point our children toward Christ every day.
